The only sticking point I had is that only one port on the ONT is configured, and CenturyLink installer did not mention or document that. In my case, the internet didn’t work at all until the power on the ONT was cycled, so not sure if it would do anything for you since you do connect (albeit poorly).

I needed to specify the interface to VLAN mappings in the console for it to boot up. In the past, I set the modem to transparent bridging, configured VLAN tagging to 201 untagged on my RAX45, but my RAX45 would suffer frequent disconnects or have no internet at all. I’m going to try it once they do the install on Thursday.
Has anyone done this with this setup? My Asus RT-AC68U was seeing dismal results.

I’m planning on shutting off the C3000Z routing and wireless completely.As it stands I’m double-NAT in DMZ mode since Google WiFi cannot log in via PPPoE when connected to the WLAN port with the C3000Z in transparent bridge mode.By Google WiFi I’m talking about the physical mesh device, not a service. 2.
